Travel & Accomodation

  • The wedding is taking place at Borgo Giusto, close to Lucca. Here you can find the google maps link to the location: Google maps - Borgo Giusto

The nearest airports are Florence and Pisa. The nearest train station is Lucca.

  • We will be organising a pick-up and drop-off service to and from Lucca train station. If arriving at the airport you can either take a train to Lucca or organise a rental car (which is very cheap in Italy!). Closer to the wedding date we will be collecting all the information of who will be coming by train so that we can better organise your pick-up. More information to follow!

  • Absolutely! There is space at the location to park your car for free as well as an electrical charging point if needed.

  • Everyone is able to stay at the location for both the 24th and 25th night. You will be able to make the reservation and payment of the room through us. The stay will cost in total for the two nights on average 100-125 euros per person. Breakfast for both the 25th and 26th morning are included in the price. More information to follow!

  • Great question! This is something we still need to check with the venue. We will send an update regarding this around January time.

Essentials

  • The temperatures at this time of the year range from 13 to 24 degrees, meaning it is mostly pleasant but bring a small jumper in case it gets cold at night.

  • There is a pool and sauna at the venue and lovely hikes in the surroundings so bring your swimmers and sporty clothes if you're up for it. We will definitely be taking a dip! Towels, hairdryers, and basic toiletries are provided at the accommodation.

Food & Dietary

This is a completely vegetarian wedding, therefore all the meals during the main events will be vegetarian. However the venue also provides non-veg food so all meals outside the main events (breakfasts for example) will have non-veg options.

  • Breakfast for both the 25th and 26th of May is included at the accomodation. Outside of that, food is available all day at the restaurant of the venue.

  • Please let us know in the RSVP survey if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. If you forgot to give it during the RSVP you can always drop us a message.

Fashion

  • This is an indian-western wedding so if you have indian style clothes (saree, lehengas etc.) you are more than welcome to wear them. Otherwise western style clothing is also great! As long as you feel your best :)

For the Mehndi (on the 24th) we would recommend wearing clothes where you can easily roll up your sleeves. That is if you would like the henna to be on your hands ;)

  • The colour palette is spring cocktail so think bright colours and sparkles. This is a vibrant celebration!

We would recommend avoiding white or red since these are the bridal colours in both western and indian ceremonies. If you'd like to wear black pair it with some colour ;)

  • The venue is an old italian hamlet so it is covered with beautiful cobblestones. Part of the event will also take place out on the lawn so we would recommend not to wear shoes with too thin heels as it might be uncomfortable.
