Our celebration will take place at the beautiful Borgo Giusto—a charming medieval village hotel nestled in the Tuscan hills near Lucca. You can find the exact location here.
Since we've reserved the entire village for the weekend to keep the party intimate, all accommodation for the nights of May 24th and May 25th must be booked through us. We have secured all the rooms, and kindly ask that you cover the cost of your two-night stay. We'll be in touch soon with payment details!
You can check-in from 2:00 PM onwards on May 24th, but please feel free to arrive earlier and kick off the vacanza! Come relax by the poolside, enjoy a swim, and have lunch at the Borgo restaurant.
We’ve also got breakfast covered for both May 25th and May 26th.
Travel
AIR
The closest aiports are Pisa (50 mins drive) and Florence (70 mins drive from Borgo Giusto). At the airports you can either rent a car (quite cheap in this region!) or take the train (see option below). We will be collecting your chosen mode of transport to organise this .
RAIL
If you opt for the train, here is the basic route from each airport to the final destination, Lucca Station:
If flying into Pisa Airport (PSA), this is the quickest connection: take the automated PisaMover for five minutes to Pisa Centrale, and then switch to a Regional Train (Trenitalia) for the 25–30 minute ride to Lucca. The total journey usually takes 40–60 minutes.
If flying into Florence Airport (FLR), the journey is longer: first, take the T2 Tram (20–30 minutes) to Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN) station, and then catch a Regional Train to Lucca (about 1 hour 20 minutes). Expect the total journey from Florence to take approximately 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours.
ROAD
If you're planning a full-on Italian road trip, go for it! There will be plenty of secure parking space at Borgo Giusto for everyone's car.
Electric Vehicles: For our eco-conscious guests, please note there is one Tesla Destination charging station available in the hotel parking lot.
